Business Growth Specialist

Our mission is to assist businesses in running their applications on cloud infrastructures. We’re a DevOps house working on solutions to ease the lives of our present and future clients.

We’re a small IT consultancy company specializing in Kubernetes, cloud computing, and open-source technologies. We’re the authors of an open-source PaaS cloud-agnostic solution for multi-cloud Kubernetes deployments in AI scenarios (called Claudie). Our aim is to turn this into a commercial product and place it on the growing AI startup markets.

Our main goals are:

  • To ensure we have enough consulting opportunities and engagements to keep the cash flowing

  • To build up and transform the company into a product/SaaS-based business around github.com/berops/claudie

With this in mind, we’re looking for a mid-/senior-level Business Growth Specialist to grow our business via:

  1. Setting the sales and marketing strategy jointly with company management

  2. Identify new leads and growth opportunities

  3. Processing the feedback from the company’s client base for adjusting the business growth strategy

  4. Setting the go-to approach for tender processes and client engagements

  5. Represent the company at industry events

  6. Expanding our presence on the cloud-native market

  7. Developing the brand recognition

A successful candidate will drive the evolution of our business development efforts with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach. You will be the person who thrives in identifying and capitalizing on emerging market trends and opportunities. The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners will be crucial in expanding our clientele. Your passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of industry advancements will keep us at the forefront of innovation.

We’re looking for people interested in working with modern technology. People who are willing to learn a lot on the job and to excel in what we do. As a candidate, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Psychology, Computer Science, Maths & Physics, Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience

  • profound knowledge in the customer management field

  • interest in cloud-native ecosystem

  • openness to business travel within Europe

  • communication and presentation skills

  • written and spoken English

As an ideal candidate, you’ll also have:

  • experience in customer engagement, business development, marketing, sales or psychology domains

  • experience in the startup sector

  • knowledge of the CNCF stack and basic cloud products

  • understanding of the aspects and requirements of software engineering delivery

  • community or open-source work

The salary range for this position is 28.000 - 48.000 €/yr + performance bonus. This position is 100% remote within Europe.

We are seeking primarily full-time commitment, but we’re open to other forms of cooperation and time commitment as well.
